Face Mask Policy
It is clinic policy that all patients are required to wear a mask. This is for both your safety and the safety of others. Please fit your mask before you enter the building.
If you cannot wear a mask, please advise us on arrival and follow the directions of staff. We will see you in a way that is safe for you and others.
Please read further on the ways we can provide you an appointment and the relevant guidelines for these. If you have any questions, please call the clinic on (03) 9525 5200 first.
OPTION 1: FACE-TO-FACE CONSULTATION
We can now see any patient face-to-face as long as you:
- do not have COVID-19 symptoms
- are not required to quarantine or isolate under any government directive
For these patients, you can book a face-to-face consultation.
OPTION 2: CONSULTATION BY TELEHEALTH
If you would like to speak to your doctor by video or telephone, we offer the convenience of telehealth consultations. Please note that for safety reasons, any patient with respiratory symptoms will need to have a telehealth consultation first if you wish to see your doctor face-to-face. Please note that to receive a Medicare rebate from a telehealth consultation, you must have received a Medicare rebatable service at SKMG within the last 12 months. To book your telehealth appointment, please call the clinic on (03) 9525 5200 or book online.
- Do you have any Covid-19 symptoms (e.g. fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell)? Check your symptoms here.
- Are you required to quarantine or isolate under any government directive?
Please note SKMG does not provide this service.
